Asset Lending was founded in 2016 by an entrepreneurial group with a strong background in funding and finance. The business has experienced unprecedented success in filling a gap in the independent used car market and so in 2019 external funding was secured to support the next phase of growth. We have since seen an incredible uptake in the market, driven by a real need for the product. In 2020, the group launched its additional products and services and Asset Lending changed its name to Vehicle Invest as the dealer funding division of the Vehicle Care Group.
Motocare and McCarthy Trimmers
The Vehicle Care Group has acquired Motocare a trusted name in the SA Motor industry with a 15 year operational history, this enabled us to offer warranties to dealerships nationwide.
Vehicle Protect now offers a complete range of Mechanical Warranties, Scratch and Dent and Service Plans, including the trusted MotorCare products, as well as the new and exciting Power Range. This acquisition of Motocare and our partnership with McCarthy Trimmers, allows us to add well-trusted and comprehensive warranties, service plans and an unparalleled Cosmetic Maintenance offering to our clients.
